MUFC WITH NO FAVOURABLE CHANCE TO SUCCESS THE MATCH

Every one expected this derby match would be very serious competition in between MUFC and NTU Myanmar. In the match, MUFC went on the top form early stage Strikers Zarni,Nyi Nyi,N.S. Thein, Midfielder Zeyar & Ye Gyi floating out to left flank, in the 18yards & sending a number of great crossings in to the opponent’s box.

MUFC created the first great real chance to the game in the 15 mins, Ye Gyi found himself up field on the middle right side and pull the ball with his right foot , turning NTU ‘ no 9 striker Bo Gyi . He continued pulling the ball to before 18 yards of the box, looked at turn around to the penalty area. He saw his great teammate striker Zarni ready to finish the ball, he passed great long crossing toward No.7 Zarni stole the offside line and connected with a shinning header that ball introduce to the Opponent’s Goal Net right corner. MUFC tried to venture forward remaining minutes of first half, connecting a few passes together in midfield. In the mean while, NTU had super chance getting penalty by mistaking MUFC Defender body blocking when NTU Striker just running in the penalty Box.NTU Striker No. 9 Bo Gyi place the ball on the penalty spot, prepared to strike the penalty ball. However, he shot the ball with less confident to out from the upper goal bar. NTU players were hopeless in that moment.

In the 35 minutes, NTU suddenly got opportunity to re equivalent the opening goal from their counter attack, MUFC defenders Nay Myat ( Man Of The Match of this Game ) , Kyaw Gyi & right defender Htun Win Min were shocked from the MUFC midfielders missed to stop NTU Counter Attacking. Afterward Zarni got very good opportunity too again. In the 40 minutes, lone Striker Naing Soe Thein made good effort heading back the ball to drop to the penalty box by robbing heading ball among NTU defenders’ marking. Zarni quickly ran and made proposing the ball to the net with strong shooting. Nevertheless the ball was unluckily touched the Goal’s upper bar and jumped out.

NTU team had one more good chance in direct kick in the MUFC pentaly box . NTU player No 9 and No.6 managed to shoot in direct kick .NTU No. 9 just short passed the ball to No 6 to make finishing tha ball .however MUFC Goal Keeperm Si Thu made it save by doing himself taking height risk and protected the ball from NTU’s surprised indirect shooting.

When the Second period begin with zarni being introduced for New Striker Soe Thu sub to Naing Soe Thein No .11 and Zayar one of the best Strikers from MUFC demonstrated MUFC attacking 5 minutes later but his low short from Left conor inside the NTU’s Penalty box was save by NTU’s Goal Keep easily. NTU were finding it very hard to break down MUFC Attacking. But The Luck was not being with MUFC. They had another lucky chance to get 2nd score due to mistake of MUFC defenders misunderstanding each other in the 15minutes of 2nd half and 5 minutes later .NTU left wing attacker crossed ball to right side of MUFC penalty box and NTU Striker picked up the ball to get in the net without marking any one of MUFC two defenders so ugly in between the gap for NTU Striker.

20 minutes in though, Zayar could have put MUFC to get chance shortly pass through the line of Penalty Box with low drive that forced NTU Goal Keeper into fear, but the rest of the side joint striker Soe Thu & Zarni were failing to follow up. MUFC controlled the game taking possession 70% of the ball even NTU were leading one goal ahead.









Although NTU were leading one goal ahead to MUFC, they did not played professionally and maturely .NTU Players had made complaining many time to Referee intended to hear let the opponent team were getting lose temper and they intended to break MUFC team spirit & rhythm. However most of MUFC players had been experienced in that case as they played football to the various high level of Playing football in Myanmar in their past . Beside the Players of MUFC were already mature and professional,they had concerntrated team placing during the match time.As Most of MUFC players played had already valuable knowledge and experiences, they got to know how to survive like as the competation of Derby match and MUFC had played cleaning like as a professional team.

Nevertheless, 30 minutes of 2nd half, as early said, they were being friend with Luck to their side. They got 3rd goal from easy way of NTU Striker efforted lucky lifting crossing to in front of MUFC Goal but the ball direction was luckily diverted way to enter MUFC’s belonging net. Even MUFC’s one of the best Goal Keeper Mon Aung manged to push out the ball, but the ball was swinging fly into net.
MUFC were never surrender and quickly came back to show what is MUFC .They took control the game shortly and after however and came close to make leveling in more than twice shooting to target even failed to hit target.NTU team did not found any lucky chance after their 3rd goal because of MUFC defenders Kyaw Gyi, Nay Myat , Min Naing & Min Oo had ensure to secure defending line of MUFC as well .

35 minutes of the game, MUFC Striker Zarni pulled the ball forward with his foot, turning two of NTU defenders inside 18 yards of NTU Goal area. NTU defenders tried to stop Zarni by turning down from behind near penalty area. No chance for NTU at that moment, referee gave the penalty to MUFC.MUFC Zarni was found himself confidently and took the responsibility to let MUFC players to return the match again. Now the result was NTU 3-2 MUFC and 10 minutes to go end of second half. In the interval time MUFC Soe Thu made running the ball along and tried immediate long shooting from outside 18 yards to NTU Goal .But His weak shooting was saved by NTU Goal Keeper.

In the a few minutes to go end of 2nd half, the last chance of the match belonged to MUFC, MUFC Zayer pulled the ball along the left side by turning and tricking 3 defenders of NTU and Shot the ball but disappointedly the ball hit to Goal keeper and dropped near the Penalty spot .NTU defenders kicked out away the ball. Unluckily MUFC, there was no more minutes playing time for after MUFC missed great chance. The Game was overrrrr at all.
