Man of the match Ko Min Naing Oo showed that his diligent effort, his amazingly performance improvement and contribution to MUFC are deserved to get the title of Man of the Match by winning 6 vote from all players.He assures MUFC that he is the best in his left side defender position by supporting not only defense also attacking and create the opportunities for forwarders. He created one goal for striker Zarni in this match.

Aung Thura,although He come back to football field from a few weeks ago, he performed his defense midfield player's responsibilities very well in this match by destroying royal FC attacks from time to time.



Ko Htun Min ,right side defender who receive most of the applaud from other players and fans in this match as he played totally different from other match and support MUFC defense to be more solid and strengthen.

Lothar Matthäus of Mandalay United, Ko Soe Aung, calm and steady style of playing he always made in every match give message to all that he is still able to lead MUFC defense despite of his age although he became the 4th player who missed the penalty in MUFC in this match.

Yin Aung, another wonderful player of MUFC although he is not fit to play sometime due to his drinking habit. Score one goal in this match by taking full opportunity from Zarni's passing. His brilliant tackling and body movement while taking the ball make the remembrance of Steve Mcmanaman at his early 30.

Mon Aung, Goal keeper of MUFC who can't be replaced with Casillas though he looks pretty close to Cassillas in term of handsomeness as well as ball keeping skills. His skills in goal keeping in this match stop Royal FC not to score more than one.

Zeyar, play maker of MUFC create beautiful placing in this match although his tendency towards over dribbling and tackling. The first goal of MUFC in this match is cause by his beautiful and rapid passing to striker Soe Thu. The above picture showed how much he love to hold the ball and create beautiful impossible movement that make applaud by fans sometime but sometime F#!$%@.
Nay Myat Soe, the only player who can play multiposition in MUFC prove his adaptability of skills by playing two positions in this match. His defensive skills and supporting of attacking cause a lot of chances for MUFC strikers to score. His wonderful free kick from the center of the field gave chance to striker Zarni and Yin Ag to score 5th goal of the game.

Soe Thu , 23 years old striker showed his brilliant finishing skills by scoring 2 goals in this match. Although he is about to get the nick name "Slow Thu" because of his terrible slow movement, his ball control skills, finishing skills and opening skills showed MUFC that he can be promising player for MUFC in future.

Zarni , Captain and reliable striker of MUFC who never fail to create goals for MUFC in every match score second goal of the game. His diligent playing style, incredible trick to defenders, beautiful finishing skills promised MUFC that MUFC will be able to find goals as long as he is with MUFC. Since he is too crazy fan of Manchester United who lost 2-0 to Liverpool horribly at same day while Mandalay United was winning, he could be imagining himself as Wyne Rooney but he looks more to 1994 worldcup Maradona because of his temper and body.

Khine Chit, ex-player of MIT EC team joined back to his old buddies Ye Gyi, Zarni and Ko Nge Lay and play his first match with MUFC today.Although he is away from football field for about 5 years, his skills and style of playing is same as 7 years ago in MIT.



Ye Gyi, still play well in his territory "midfield" while Ko Nge Lay is away. Although he is not fast enough to lead the game, his long pass to forward still support the strikers to create chances to score.

Mandalay United Vs Myanmar Shipyard

This match was very interesting match for Mandalay united as they were defeated by Myanmar shipyard team in two consecutive matches from a few months ago. In this match, MUFC prepare it’s ever strongest defensive lineup. Basically MUFC played the whole match with the formation of 3-2-3-2 that was the new formation MUFC has never played before. The 3 defensive players are Ko Soe Aung, Aung ThuRa and Ko Min Naing. In front of them, there are two defensive midfielders NayMyatSoe and Ye Gyi, and 3 attack midfielders are Soe Thu, Zeyar and Ko Nyi. Zarni played as lone striker and our wonderful striker Aung Lay who just returns from his long absent played as shadow striker. Although captain and playmaker Ko Nge Lay miss this match, both defensive and attacking midfielders link each other very well to support to attack as well as to support the defense.

MUFC 1-0 Shipyard

MUFC players performed well as planned at formation and manage to give pressure to Myanmar shipyard defensive since the very beginning of the match. At 10 minutes from the first half, Zarni put his best afford to get the ball by running over to shipyard defender and pass the ball to SoeThu. Shipyard keeper was unable to drag the ball at the air and reach to SoeThu. He made the heading to empty goals but unfortunately wasting one goal by heading beside the goal bar. After 5 minutes from that terrible mistake, MUFC recover it’s placing again. First Zeyar pass the ball to zarni and zarni roll the ball toward the running lane of Aung Lay. That quickly passing amazed shipyard defenders and Aung Lay managed to bring the balls swiftly towards to the goal.

He showed his wonderful finishing skills by kicking calmly to the right corner of shipyard goal keeper and cheers up MUFC to head the game with 1-0.

Shipyard attack and try to penetrate to MUFC defense for a few times, but the wall AungThura, Ko Soe Aung , Ko Min Naing and goal keeper Sithu destroy their hope of scoring with their experienced skills. However at 25 minutes of the first half, shipyard striker tackles Ko Min Naing from the left side and shoots the ball from the narrow angle. As the ball came from narrow angle with powerful speed, MUFC gave equalizer goal to shipyard.

At 35 minutes of the first half, Ko Min Naing made the long passing to the striker Zarni. Zarni showed his excellent striker skills by leaving shipyard defender behind him and pass the ball to soethu again. This time, soethu made the great heading again and bring up MUFC with the result of 2-1.

At second half, MUFC planned to speed up its attacking power by substituting Ye Gyi with KyawGyi. However shipyard team also increases their attacking speed and control the tempo of the game. KyawGyi was too attacking minded in this match and unable to prevent the shipyard attack before it reach to the last defensive line. MUFC players were unable to control the ball possession at the start of the second half and give up of extending the lead of the game. Shipyard team keep pressuring on MUFC defensive line and score two goals continuously and lead the game with 3-2.

At 80 minutes, MUFC replace soethu with Striker Aung Lay and the ball possession was significantly improved. At 90 minutes, Aunglay shoot the ball incredibly from the left wing and the ball was bending into the goal bar. As the ball hit the goal bar, striker zarni has no hesitation to run in and make the heading to the ball that gives equalizer goal to MUFC at last minute before the referee whistle.

MUFC WITH NO FAVOURABLE CHANCE TO SUCCESS THE MATCH

Man of The Match : Nay Myat Soe

Every one expected this derby match would be very serious competition in between MUFC and NTU Myanmar. In the match, MUFC went on the top form early stage Strikers Zarni,Nyi Nyi,N.S. Thein, Midfielder Zeyar & Ye Gyi floating out to left flank, in the 18yards & sending a number of great crossings in to the opponent’s box.

MUFC created the first great real chance to the game in the 15 mins, Ye Gyi found himself up field on the middle right side and pull the ball with his right foot , turning NTU ‘ no 9 striker Bo Gyi . He continued pulling the ball to before 18 yards of the box, looked at turn around to the penalty area. He saw his great teammate striker Zarni ready to finish the ball, he passed great long crossing toward No.7 Zarni stole the offside line and connected with a shinning header that ball introduce to the Opponent’s Goal Net right corner. MUFC tried to venture forward remaining minutes of first half, connecting a few passes together in midfield. In the mean while, NTU had super chance getting penalty by mistaking MUFC Defender body blocking when NTU Striker just running in the penalty Box.NTU Striker No. 9 Bo Gyi place the ball on the penalty spot, prepared to strike the penalty ball. However, he shot the ball with less confident to out from the upper goal bar. NTU players were hopeless in that moment.

In the 35 minutes, NTU suddenly got opportunity to re equivalent the opening goal from their counter attack, MUFC defenders Nay Myat ( Man Of The Match of this Game ) , Kyaw Gyi & right defender Htun Win Min were shocked from the MUFC midfielders missed to stop NTU Counter Attacking. Afterward Zarni got very good opportunity too again. In the 40 minutes, lone Striker Naing Soe Thein made good effort heading back the ball to drop to the penalty box by robbing heading ball among NTU defenders’ marking. Zarni quickly ran and made proposing the ball to the net with strong shooting. Nevertheless the ball was unluckily touched the Goal’s upper bar and jumped out.

NTU team had one more good chance in direct kick in the MUFC pentaly box . NTU player No 9 and No.6 managed to shoot in direct kick .NTU No. 9 just short passed the ball to No 6 to make finishing tha ball .however MUFC Goal Keeperm Si Thu made it save by doing himself taking height risk and protected the ball from NTU’s surprised indirect shooting.

When the Second period begin with zarni being introduced for New Striker Soe Thu sub to Naing Soe Thein No .11 and Zayar one of the best Strikers from MUFC demonstrated MUFC attacking 5 minutes later but his low short from Left conor inside the NTU’s Penalty box was save by NTU’s Goal Keep easily. NTU were finding it very hard to break down MUFC Attacking. But The Luck was not being with MUFC. They had another lucky chance to get 2nd score due to mistake of MUFC defenders misunderstanding each other in the 15minutes of 2nd half and 5 minutes later .NTU left wing attacker crossed ball to right side of MUFC penalty box and NTU Striker picked up the ball to get in the net without marking any one of MUFC two defenders so ugly in between the gap for NTU Striker.

20 minutes in though, Zayar could have put MUFC to get chance shortly pass through the line of Penalty Box with low drive that forced NTU Goal Keeper into fear, but the rest of the side joint striker Soe Thu & Zarni were failing to follow up. MUFC controlled the game taking possession 70% of the ball even NTU were leading one goal ahead.









Although NTU were leading one goal ahead to MUFC, they did not played professionally and maturely .NTU Players had made complaining many time to Referee intended to hear let the opponent team were getting lose temper and they intended to break MUFC team spirit & rhythm. However most of MUFC players had been experienced in that case as they played football to the various high level of Playing football in Myanmar in their past . Beside the Players of MUFC were already mature and professional,they had concerntrated team placing during the match time.As Most of MUFC players played had already valuable knowledge and experiences, they got to know how to survive like as the competation of Derby match and MUFC had played cleaning like as a professional team.

Nevertheless, 30 minutes of 2nd half, as early said, they were being friend with Luck to their side. They got 3rd goal from easy way of NTU Striker efforted lucky lifting crossing to in front of MUFC Goal but the ball direction was luckily diverted way to enter MUFC’s belonging net. Even MUFC’s one of the best Goal Keeper Mon Aung manged to push out the ball, but the ball was swinging fly into net.
MUFC were never surrender and quickly came back to show what is MUFC .They took control the game shortly and after however and came close to make leveling in more than twice shooting to target even failed to hit target.NTU team did not found any lucky chance after their 3rd goal because of MUFC defenders Kyaw Gyi, Nay Myat , Min Naing & Min Oo had ensure to secure defending line of MUFC as well .

35 minutes of the game, MUFC Striker Zarni pulled the ball forward with his foot, turning two of NTU defenders inside 18 yards of NTU Goal area. NTU defenders tried to stop Zarni by turning down from behind near penalty area. No chance for NTU at that moment, referee gave the penalty to MUFC.MUFC Zarni was found himself confidently and took the responsibility to let MUFC players to return the match again. Now the result was NTU 3-2 MUFC and 10 minutes to go end of second half. In the interval time MUFC Soe Thu made running the ball along and tried immediate long shooting from outside 18 yards to NTU Goal .But His weak shooting was saved by NTU Goal Keeper.

In the a few minutes to go end of 2nd half, the last chance of the match belonged to MUFC, MUFC Zayer pulled the ball along the left side by turning and tricking 3 defenders of NTU and Shot the ball but disappointedly the ball hit to Goal keeper and dropped near the Penalty spot .NTU defenders kicked out away the ball. Unluckily MUFC, there was no more minutes playing time for after MUFC missed great chance. The Game was overrrrr at all.
