MUFC regained its confidence and momentum after 111 days from the last winning match at GA league. First match of GA league second season against with Black Knight FC proved that formation and lineup being tested by Coach Ko Soe Aung actually seem to be working although there are some flaws which need to be addressed. MUFC start its formation with 3-1-3-2-1 which was successful in the match against with Azhar United FC at earlier of this month. Though not a brutal decision, putting injury player captain Ko Nge Lay as key player of the team was a quite a risky stunt by Coach Ko Soe Aung. Captain didn’t seem to be fit enough during first half but his play was dramatically changed during second half as the team gathered high momentum along with him. Not a surprise, he earned man of the match title of this match by controlling the entire match with his skills and motivated spirits. On the other hand, MUFC dependency on captain could possibly become huge blow when he is injured and out for play. Not only Captain , MUFC found the other outstanding players in this match. Striker NaingSoeThein was remarkably outstanding in this match by putting his best effort for MUFC 1st and 2nd Equalizer goals. The other young player ZawHtetAung also proved his best skill and showed to all that he is the promising player for new MUFC defense line. SoeThu’s performance was totally stunning when he made the header from 6 meters to the upper angle of blackknight FC goal. He made another classic performance at 75 minutes by shooting the ball nonstop received from his precise chest control. YeLynnHtun’s accurate shot from 18 m let MUFC to lead the match at second half as well.
Overall performance by MUFC was really satisfactory at the first match of the GA season 2 and this momentum is required to be kept through out of the season. Although this match is still not the best MUFC, this match showed that MUFC is still having rooms to improve.
Nevertheless MUFC earned sweet memories at beautiful Sunday evening in Clementi town secondary school.
