The host had led through early goals from Mid fielder Yin Aung and 2nd half early two goals from Striker Naing Ko Tun and Nay Myat Soe .

Mandalay united won the ball in midfield and Mid defender Captain Nae Win Aung made ensuring ball distribution and decorated harmony with his mates two mid attackers Zarni and Yin Aung as of playing “Pass and Move”

White Knight did threaten in and around the area of MUFC Defending line in some mins, but Mandalay Goal Keeper Yan Aung Moe had shown why he was in Mandalay’s ever First line up Goal Keeper and man of the match of the first Victory. Not Only Goal keeper did , also Central Defender Zaw Htet Aung appeared his quite brilliantly movement was let White Night’s The Best Striker No. 10 with long hair pony tail suffered and lacked the end product.Left defender Ya Wai and Right defender Min Min Oo served fully responsibility and made Whight night wings attacking was nothing.

Mandalay United FC Vs Jurong East Central

Date: 13th March 2011
Time:5:00 PM

Mandalay United FC 0-3 Jurong East Central

5 minutes start of the game and fatal error occurred to MUFC which was embarrassed own goal by MUFC left defender. It was very abnormal of own goal as most of the own goals seen at the matches were either opponent is pressuring or deflecting the ball. However this own goal was plain speedy closed shoot as if came from Jurong East central striker. MUFC coach should have reminded players at MUFC to show their performance as they have it and not to do any risky public stunt to earn applaud from crowd. However MUFC’s start was embarrassing with that own goal while opponent laugh and looked at MUFC players with weird eyes and wondering if they really know how to play football. Second goal was very fortunate goal by Jurong East Central with a deflect kick by J east central striker and went straight to the ace of MUFC goal.
Third goal was from free kick by J east central which was quite curvy and new replacement goal keeper zarni was unable to prevent it. MUFC striker Zarni is serving his best to MUFC while 3 keepers from MUFC were not available. His safe from all corner kicks and long shoot kicks were quite stunning which help a lot MUFC not to give more than 3 goals. Overall MUFC performance and formation was satisfactory since the new lineup structured by Ko Soe Aung helped MUFC to gain more possession at this match than others.
Anyway MUFC will be keep marching until end of the league with these comrades while some are very strong and some are very weak in terms of stamina, skill and strength. No matter what the situation, MUFC will never change it’s objective of 50% enjoy the game and 50% to win the game.

Mandalay United FC Vs FC Cosmos

Result: MUFC 1-4 FC Cosmos
Location:Funchuan Secondary School
Date: 07th March 2011
Time: 15:00

This match was the ugliest match in MUFC history as there are only 10 players at the start of the match and 3 injury players have to play although their injuries are not fully recovered yet. The normal 7 players are not available and the rest are not in town. It was very unfortunate for MUFC to play against with FC Cosmos while they don’t have enough players. The reported injury players also did not bother to come and support their teammates while the attendance list was showing recordable low attendance .The motivation and winning spirit collected from the first match of GA league also drained away even before the match. Nevertheless salute to all players who have played for MUFC in this match with their best efforts especially to three injury players, Zarni, Naing Soe Thein and Kyauke Lone.
The Russians based FC cosmos take fully advantage of MUFC weakness and score 2 goals at the first half of the match and another 2 goals at second half of the match. Although MUFC take over the possession during second half, MUFC injury players didn’t manage to make chance to score. Only one penalty outstandingly earned by MUFC veteran Zarni help MUFC not to end with goalless result.
No one is deserved to be blamed on yesterday MUFC’s performance and team work since MUFC tactical team has made the best formation with very limited players and all players also tried their best. However, there is one thing obviously missing in MUFC while all players seem to be frustrated and nervous for not enough players. That is obviously a need that MUFC players need to be cheered up in this type of situations. As a general rule of team, captain is supposed to cheer up the players in every situation but MUFC unable to find its captain at yesterday evening. While captain is not at the field and co-captain is in his injury, no official delegation for captain position was seen at yesterday match.
Although this cheering up thing is not the sole reason for the match results , that would definitely be a thing MUFC should have done.

Mandalay Seek victory at first match of GA season 2

Mandalay United 4-3 Black Knight FC
10' Naing Soe Thein
20' Ye Min Win (P)
50' Ye Lynn Htun
70' soe Thu

Date: 27-Feb-2011
Location: Clementi Town Secondary School

MUFC regained its confidence and momentum after 111 days from the last winning match at GA league. First match of GA league second season against with Black Knight FC proved that formation and lineup being tested by Coach Ko Soe Aung actually seem to be working although there are some flaws which need to be addressed. MUFC start its formation with 3-1-3-2-1 which was successful in the match against with Azhar United FC at earlier of this month. Though not a brutal decision, putting injury player captain Ko Nge Lay as key player of the team was a quite a risky stunt by Coach Ko Soe Aung. Captain didn’t seem to be fit enough during first half but his play was dramatically changed during second half as the team gathered high momentum along with him. Not a surprise, he earned man of the match title of this match by controlling the entire match with his skills and motivated spirits. On the other hand, MUFC dependency on captain could possibly become huge blow when he is injured and out for play. Not only Captain , MUFC found the other outstanding players in this match. Striker NaingSoeThein was remarkably outstanding in this match by putting his best effort for MUFC 1st and 2nd Equalizer goals. The other young player ZawHtetAung also proved his best skill and showed to all that he is the promising player for new MUFC defense line. SoeThu’s performance was totally stunning when he made the header from 6 meters to the upper angle of blackknight FC goal. He made another classic performance at 75 minutes by shooting the ball nonstop received from his precise chest control. YeLynnHtun’s accurate shot from 18 m let MUFC to lead the match at second half as well.
Overall performance by MUFC was really satisfactory at the first match of the GA season 2 and this momentum is required to be kept through out of the season. Although this match is still not the best MUFC, this match showed that MUFC is still having rooms to improve.
Nevertheless MUFC earned sweet memories at beautiful Sunday evening in Clementi town secondary school.

Mandalay United FC 0-3 Popiah Rangers FC

Time: 4:30
Date: 24th-July-2010
Location: Jurong West Secondary School
GA league 1st round

Mandalay United FC’s dream of winning the first 3 points at GA league was faded away after terrific incidents with referee before 5 minutes to the end of the match. This match turned out as MUFC Vs referee than MUFC Vs Popiah Rangers FC. The referee’s decision in this match was very doubtful at the start of the match and it was so obvious that he was not controlling the game with his effort. Throughout the game, he decided wrongly from time to time and the worst is that he did not attempt to stop the serious foul play made by Popiah Rangers FC. Popiah Rangers is the well-organized team with young players and they also seem to be hungry of their first 3 points at GA league. They commit the unintentional foul play to MUFC players which were just being ignored by the referee. They also tried to waste time inside the field by diving and felling to the ground again and again which was also ignored by referee and allow them to treat their teammates in unlimited duration. As MUFC keep its reputation and hold the policy of clean and fair play, MUFC players did well understand the behavior of popiah rangers players for taking advantage from the poor management of referee. However their silent patience bust out 5 minutes before the end of game and ended with violent manners to the referee. This incident cost them 2 red cards to the two important players.
Although there are excuses for poor management of referee, diving and trick done by opponent, all MUFC’s players were still under performance to make the first 3 points. The first goal was from the miscommunication between defenders while they are trying to do the offside trap. Second goal was clear header from corner kick while MUFC player failed to mark the popiah ranger’s striker. The third goal was from free kick in which the ball slip from the hand of MUFC keeper’s Si Thu.
MUFC seem to require the maturity and calmness to play the league match since they played impressively at their previous friend match against Ocean 15 FC. Whatever the situation such as poor pitch condition, very strong opponent, tricky opponent, poor referee and league pressure, it is time for MUFC to overcome all sort of excuses and start finding the first 3 points at GA league.
MUFC will be playing against with Tuas Soccerities at 1st of August ,Pioneer Secondary School.
