This match is first match for Mandalay United playing with opponent coming from asia super power football country, South Korea. The players from Suwong Bluewings Youngsters came from the town called Suwong and their home base football club Suwon Bluewing is the most successful FC in K league. This is the match details of how MUFC play against with Koreans.
The new hero emerged for Mandalay United at this Saturday. Yin Aung , who had always been viewed as non fitting player for the match however he turn into the most performing player from the very first minute of the game until last minute of the game at this Saturday. His support to defensive line and attacking line was really a great contribution which drives MUFC to create beautiful placing and goals. There was no surprise that he was designated as man of the match by winning 7 votes from all his team mates at the end of the game.
MUFC 1-0 Suwong Bluewings Youngster
Since the first minute of the game, MUFC was keep on pressuring Koreans but without real focus to be able to create a goal. At the 9 minutes of the first half, the passing composed by Zarni and Zeyar helped the ball to reach to Yin Ag. He controlled the ball with his chest and made the airshot immediately to the goal. The shot was not powerful kick but that was surprise for Korean goal keepers and he was totally helpless to prevent it. That proved that power shot is not really necessary to create a goal as long as the ball goes to the place where the opponent goal keeper could not really reach. This leading goal also proved Yin Ag’s ball control skill and immediate decision with perfect finishing.
MUFC 1-1 Suwon Bluewings Youngster
Koreans tried to get the equalizer goal after giving first goal to MUFC. They put their key player No 10 at forward and tried so many times to penetrate the MUFC defensive. MUFC defensive players Ko Soe Aung, Ko Min Naing Oo, Ko Htun Min ,NayMyatSoe and Aung Thura destroyed their attacking with their strong combination of defensive line. MUFC goal keepers Si Thu also helped to shut off MUFC goal. At 15 minutes, Koreans took the full opportunities from the misunderstanding between Ko Soe Aung and Aung Thura and shoot the ball to right upper corner of goal which make the MUFC not to be able to extend their lead.
MUFC 2-1 Suwon Bluewings YoungSter
At 25 minutes of first half, Zeyar tackled one defensive player and passed the ball to Kyaw Gyi. Since kyaw gyi always rely on his speed, he catches the ball and brings the ball to the goal area of Suwon by leaving all Suwon defensive players behind him. Suwon defensive players were unable to prevent him and allow him to shoot the powerful kick to goals. That made the result 2-1 and let MUFC lead again the game
MUFC 2-2 Suwon Bluewings Youngster
Suwon players never allowed MUFC to lead the game and they started focusing on their attacking again once they lose the goal. At 33rd minutes of the game, the key player of Suwon No 10 got the ball by tackling over MUFC last defence player Ko Soe Aung and shoot the rolling ball to the right bottom of the goal.
Second Half
MUFC 3-2 Suwon Bluewings Youngster
At second half, Right midfielder Ko Nyi and Sweeper Aung Thura got injury and replaced with Ye gyi and Khine Chit. The formation was changed at second half and the two attacking midfielder Yin Aung and Khine Chit drove the whole attacking line of MUFC at entire second half. At 55 minutes, Khine Chit got the ball from Suwon defensive players and rolled the ball to Striker Zarni without hesitation. Khine Chit and Zarni were absolutely right in everything in this combination and remarked as the most beautiful combination of goals in MUFC history. First rapid pass by Khine chit, Second diagonal run by striker Zarni, third Zarni got the ball, measure the angle and shoot the narrow angle of the Suwon goal that was never expected by Suwon keeper. That was 3-2 result for the game.
MUFC 3-3 Suwon Bluewings Youngster
MUFC always have difficulty of extending the lead of the game for no reasons and MUFC is stilling trying to figure out why. At 66th minutes of the game, Suwon left wingers cross the ball to in front of MUFC goal. However the shooting was not accurate so that the ball was dropped to upper bar of MUFC Goal. MUFC second half Keeper Mon Aung had wrong calculation of his steps to jump as the ball direction was coming unexpectedly. The ball was crossed over the Mon Aung’s jump and reach straight to Su Wong striker which makes give them another equalizer goal.
MUFC 4-3 Suwon Bluewings Youngster
For the entire match, MUFC gained most of the ball possession and never failed to pressure the Suwon Defence all the time. The left mid field players Zeyar made quite a number of opportunities and gave great threat to Suwon at entire second half. At 78th minutes, Zeyar received the ball passed by Yin Aung and make the low cross to the front of Suwon Goal. His low cross was perfectly accurate and reached straight to Kyaw Gyi. The right midfielder, Kyaw Gyi shoot the ball to the left corner of the Suwon goal again and raise MUFC to lead the game again.
MUFC 4-4 Suwon Bluewings Youngster
MUFC was trying to keep the lead while destroying the Suwong attack until last minute of the game. However Suwon players were naturally faster than MUFC player and it help them a lot of chances to penetrate the MUFC defence. Before 1 minute referee whistle, their one touch passing combination and powerful shot to MUFC goal end the game with 4-4 draw result.
